About Me

I am an Igorot, descended from what was once one of the fiercest head-hunting tribes in the Cordillera mountain range in northern Philippines. I am a struggling writer, continuously wrestling with the words to express myself appropriately. I guess my attempts must have come to naught, thus I still struggle.  My ancestral roots notwithstanding, I am totally scared of dentists. I write poetry, essays and short stories. I’m married, with a son who dabbles in photographer and advertising design. I’m 54 and a stroke survivor. And above all — a prayer warrior, for the Glory of God and the goodness of His creation.

Struggling writer. Stroke Survivor. A Prayer Warrior.
